Very unlikely, our electric underfloor heating systems have no moving parts. The only way to really damage the system is to cut through the floor and be unfortunate enough to hit the heating system installed.
We keep your floor heating system 100mm from the edges around the perimeter of your room, this is to allow for safe removal of flooring, skirting, beading etc.

All our electric underfloor heating systems work fantastically well, however some systems work better than others and this is usually determined by the finish flooring you fit over your underfloor heating system.
For us carpet flooring isn’t the greatest floor covering to fit over an electric underfloor heating system. Simply because of the overall build height your fitting over the heating elements. Wood tiles or vinyl are the best floor coverings and these three options perform fantastically well when used throughout your property.
Rugs are not recommended for use when you have an electric underfloor heating system fitted below your floor. The rugs block the heat which in turn can damage your finish floor covering and in extreme cases damage your underfloor heating system. We recommend you do not use rugs with any form of electric underfloor heating.
Our electric underfloor heating systems usually take no more than a day or two to install. Obviously every project is different but as a rule of thumb allow a day for installing the heating system in each room. We will confirm a time schedule once your project has been estimated.
